Tucson Titans, Inc. (Tucson Titans Lacrosse) is an Arizona non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote and develop youth lacrosse in Southern Arizona.  The Tucson Titans coaches all played the sport and they are all volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and resources to fulfilling this mission.  These coaches help financially subsidize the Tucson Titans Lacrosse program in order to fulfill its mission.

Coaches Who Know How to Teach the Game
Mike Storie

Mike grew up on Long Island in Manhasset where he started playing PBC lacrosse in second grade.  He captained his HS team, then played D3 NCAA at Alfred University in upstate NY where he was also captain his junior and senior seasons.  Eventually he relocated to Arizona and played in the World Games in conjunction with the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.  He has coached for over 20 years co-founding the Tucson Scorpions youth lacrosse program and the Salpointe H.S. program which won the State title under his leadership.  Mike then founded and ran the most successful Tucson youth lacrosse travel club program to date, the Southern Arizona Lacrosse Academy (SALA) which was an Adrenaline affiliate.  

Noah Van Amburg

Noah attended high school at St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire and Oberlin College in Ohio where he was a four-year letterman, three-year starter, and co-captain of the men’s D3 NCAA lacrosse team during his senior season.  He moved to Arizona in order to attend law school at the University of Arizona in 1997.  Noah coached for the Tucson Lacrosse Club prior to helping Mike, Dean and Ty Endean found the Tucson Titans in 2016.           

Dean Greenberg

Dean is from Levittown, Long Island. He grew up playing lacrosse and football, attending Washington & Lee University where he played both sports. After earning his MBA and working in NY and Atlanta, he landed in Tucson in 1988. Dean has coached youth sports for over 15 years. He co-founded the Tucson Scorpions JHS program and in 2007 the Salpointe HS program, winning the State Title in 2009 in an undefeated season.  Dean founded the Mountain View H.S. lacrosse program which advanced to the State playoffs numerous times under his leadership . 


Once again, for the 2019-20 youth lacrosse season, University of Denver players Chris and Teddy Sullivan will be volunteering their time to help coach our boys during their own school break in December and January.  Chris and Teddy started their lacrosse journey in Tucson under Coach Mike's guidance as young boys, and have gone on to great success on collegiate lacrosse' greatest stage.  Chris and Teddy will continue to shine this 2019-20 season as extremely important components of the national powerhouse Denver program.
